The Above the Aspen glass wall panel is an exquisite work of handcrafted glass art by a talented Texas-based glass artisan. To create this piece, the artist first layers clear glass with copper inclusions and fully fuses the layers. Then a striking contrast of reds, oranges, greens, purples and amber transparent iridescent glass colors are added across the panel. Gold dichroic glass and a few hand-cut mosaic sections are tack-fused to finish the piece for a striking, highly textured look.
Each glass panel in this style is handcrafted to order. The artist fuses a collage of dynamic colors and shapes cut from iridescent transparent glass, layered together with dichroics cut into mosaics, blending in blown and fused glass shards for more visual energy.
