Renaissance Wax for Sink Care

Renaissance Wax for copper sinks as well as other metal or wood sinks, is the best product we’ve found for maintaining and caring for the original patina and look of your sink.

Maintain and care for your sink by using this wax like you would wax a car: apply the wax on a clean, dry sink, then wipe off with a soft cloth. Easy to apply and economical - only a thin layer is necessary. Reapply on your sink when you start to notice the water is not beading as quickly anymore (depending on use, about every 3 to 6 weeks).

5 Howard Wax-It-All + -

Howard Wax-It-All is a food-grade paste wax that is safe for maintaining and caring for the original patina and look of your sink. This thick, smooth blend of beeswax, carnauba wax, and food grade mineral oil revives faded surfaces and helps protect metal surfaces. It will also protect wood from drying out and cracking.

Use Wax-It-All to care for a multitude of surfaces in and around your home. Wax-It-All can be used to shine and protect copper or wood countertop surfaces, concrete, granite, marble, soapstone, slate, and laminate. This innovative product revives faded metal, wood, and plastic furniture, polishes wood and painted cabinets, and helps to prevent tarnishing on metal surfaces.

Relax in a piece of art! Our "Diamond" Double Wall Copper Bathtub by SoLuna in hammered copper will add sophistication to any bathroom. This impressive soaking tub will instantly transform any bathroom in your home into a place full of rustic elegance and undeniable style. All of our tubs are made from heavy 14-gauge copper, this allows the perfect duality of indoor or outdoor installation and our double-wall construction helps keep water warm longer. Copper is a naturally anti-microbial metal that develops a beautiful living finish patina over time. Soak away your worries in this beautifully handcrafted free-standing bathtub! Hand-hammered out of 14-gauge copper, this bathtub is destined to become more beautiful with age. Copper is a naturally anti-bacterial material, making its maintenance a breeze. The drain is centered, but adjustments to drain placement can be made, please call for more information. No overflow or faucet holes. For a quicker filling, we recommend using 2 (two) tub fillers. We suggest insulating the double walls with marine foam to ensure longer and warmer bath times.

Maintenance Tips SoLuna Finishes:

Wiping your SoLuna copper product down with a soft rag and spot checking with soap and water is generally all the cleaning your SoLuna copper product will ever need. We recommend NOT using anything abrasive for bathing or cleaning, including products like bleach, bristle brushes, and harsh soaps.

To keep your copper sink or bathtub in premium condition, we recommend routinely waxing your sink or tub with Renaissance Wax or Howard Wax-It-All.

Please note: Some Copper Products offer the option for the application of a lacquer seal to protect the original patina. Wax is not necessary to maintain the finish of lacquered copper products. However, waxing does provide an extra layer of protection from dirt and grease for both lacquered and unlacquered copper products.
