Each piece in this colorful collection by Grant-Norén is made in the USA from a variety of woods. These highly skilled artisans hand-craft each piece with lots of care and precision, and then create unique, vibrant hand-painted imagery.

A traditional Scandinavian three step process is used to create this faux wood grain finish:

• First — An underlay of stain or paint is applied
• Second — A casein emulsion, usually buttermilk and pigment are mixed and used as a glaze.
• Third — Several rich layers of lacquer are applied to protect the work. Notice the unique feel appeal by allowing your hand to really experience the “piano finish” smoothness and depth.
