You no longer have to pick which pet is your favorite - the cat and the dog figurines deserve to be loved equally! These metal salt and pepper shakers are lovingly handcrafted in clay, cast in lead-free pewter, and then plated in nickel silver or 24-K gold color. A unique gift for a wedding or a housewarming party!
The shakers come with glass containers set in a convenient decorative basket (included). Other set combinations are available - please see the selection below.

To create each piece, the artist makes a polymer clay form and carves it to the desirable look. The form is then baked in the oven to harden, and a black rubber 'negative' mold is formed. The rubber mold is then filled with hot lead-free pewter in a centrifugal machine that spins while the pouring occurs. The resulting metal figurine is electro-plated to give it a silver-like or 24-K gold finish. The finish does not tarnish and gives the figurines a beautiful rich luster.
