This festive set of handcrafted Salsa bowls consists of three unique vegetable bowls - a tomato, a red onion and a white onion. Each bowl is made in a unique process of slip-casting, during which a mold created from real vegetables is filled with earthenware base material. Food-safe, non-toxic glazes are applied to make these bowls look just like the vegetables they are created to resemble.
All Vegetabowls are fully handcrafted in small batches in Buffalo, NY. Each bowl is slip-cast from molds made from real fruits and vegetables. The earthenware base of each bowl is hand-painted with non-toxic, food safe glazes of various colors. Small marks and variations are a sign of the handmade process.
Food- and dishwasher-safe. NOT recommended for use in the oven.
