This beautifully designed table features a top made from a unique slab of 2" thick Sapele with a live edge. The live edge is the sap wood and sometimes includes the bark of the tree. The artist designed an asymmetrical base to complement the live edge. Notice each leg is different proportionally to the other yet based upon the top's thickness. Also the top overhang is not evenly portioned. This exquisite piece is the same design a the RS Chest of Drawers but crafted with different woods. The lega are made from Madrone wood, locally grown in the Pacific Northwest. The other woods are Bubinga, and the center is Madrone Burl. The price shown above reflects the materials and specifications of this particular piece and may vary based on custom dimensions as well as the figure, character and availability of selected woods.
